the next step in refining your photography
See how a mentorship might be your way to break into the media industry

Our Program
Mentorship
In partnership with NBC, Shepherd’s Delight offers a paid mentorship for those looking to refine their photography skills, gain hands-on experience, and network with people already in the photography and media industry.
If you’re new to photography, you may have heard the term ‘depth of field’, but might be still unsure of how it affects your shot set up. Even older, vintage cameras have features that allow you to increase or decrease depth of field.
Why is black and white making a come back today? Much of our modern history is captured in black and white. Before color photography became cheap and of high quality, we recorded great moments in politics, art, science and sport in monochrome form.

How it works
Application and Experience
Apply to participate. Once you get the okay that you’re in, we’ll work to pair you with a mentor that fits your interests and schedule. You’ll work with them for 6 months through their shoots, clients meetings, learn new equipment, photography techniques, network with people you meet, and can ask as many questions as you want.
Teaching the photographers of tomorrow, together.
